Julie and Jessica were invaluable in my breast cancer recovery. After a long recovery from a mastectomy, chemo, radiation, and reconstructive surgery with implants, I still suffered from pain in my ribs below my breast and pain in my breast area from radiation. The Breast Center at UW Hospital was incredible during the implant surgery…
From the first time I met Julie and Jessica, it was clear that concern for my total care was their priority. This included both the physical and mental challenges of breast cancer recovery. Upon learning of their focus on all aspects of this targeted program, I knew I was in the right place and on…
After a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction which required muscle to be removed from my back and brought to my chest, I didn’t want anyone touching me. My chest felt weird, I was in a lot of pain, and I was tired of doctor appointments. But I also felt very weak and knew I needed…
We rate Capitol Physical Therapy a 10; we are extremely happy! After having received excellent PT in the past, we had no doubt this was the only place we would trust with our son’s recovery. After just 4 visits…I feel like a brand new person. Before, I could barely walk for 15 minutes without my back screaming in pain. Now I’m zooming through therapy and going on walks at home.
Meet the Staff
I was a former high school football and track & field athlete. As an athlete, I endured various injuries that ignited my passion and admiration for physical therapy. I attended to UW-La Crosse, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Then, I traveled to Phoenix, Arizona to pursue my physical therapy dream, where I achieved my Doctorate degree in physical therapy (DPT) at Midwestern University.
I enjoy treating general orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. I have a special interest in shoulder and low back pathologies providing a manual therapy focused, hands on approach. I take pride in providing quality, evidence based care with a patient centered focus. In my spare time, I love playing and watching sports with friends, kayaking, fishing, and exploring everything Madison has to offer.

After four years of playing collegiate baseball and obtaining an undergraduate degree in Health Science at UW-Stevens Point, I completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at South College in Knoxville, TN. I was familiar with Capitol Physical Therapy team through interning in Madison as a student, and was thrilled to rejoin Capitol Physical Therapy after working in another city. I enjoy being a leader on the team and serving the Verona community. My passion is taking a personalized approach when working with patients in order to get them back to performing the daily activities that are most important to them. Outside of treating orthopaedics and sports injuries in all ages, I also enjoy working with seniors and patients with vestibular issues. I am also certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy. In my spare time, I enjoy watching and attending Wisconsin sports, golfing, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
