I recently had knee replacement surgery. I decided to do my physical therapy at Capitol Physical Therapy in Verona because it would be convenient. I am so glad I made that decision. Nash made me feel comfortable right away. He is very knowledgeable and has a calm, encouraging manner. I was thrilled with the success…
Julie and Jessica were invaluable in my breast cancer recovery. After a long recovery from a mastectomy, chemo, radiation, and reconstructive surgery with implants, I still suffered from pain in my ribs below my breast and pain in my breast area from radiation. The Breast Center at UW Hospital was incredible during the implant surgery…
From the first time I met Julie and Jessica, it was clear that concern for my total care was their priority. This included both the physical and mental challenges of breast cancer recovery. Upon learning of their focus on all aspects of this targeted program, I knew I was in the right place and on…
After a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction which required muscle to be removed from my back and brought to my chest, I didn’t want anyone touching me. My chest felt weird, I was in a lot of pain, and I was tired of doctor appointments. But I also felt very weak and knew I needed…
We rate Capitol Physical Therapy a 10; we are extremely happy! After having received excellent PT in the past, we had no doubt this was the only place we would trust with our son’s recovery. The warm, welcoming environment makes it a comfortable place to receive therapy. This puts him at ease allowing for the…
Meet the Staff
I was a former high school football and track & field athlete. As an athlete, I endured various injuries that ignited my passion and admiration for physical therapy. I attended to UW-La Crosse, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Then, I traveled to Phoenix, Arizona to pursue my physical therapy dream, where I achieved my Doctorate degree in physical therapy (DPT) at Midwestern University.
I enjoy treating general orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. I have a special interest in shoulder and low back pathologies providing a manual therapy focused, hands on approach. I take pride in providing quality, evidence based care with a patient centered focus. In my spare time, I love playing and watching sports with friends, kayaking, fishing, and exploring everything Madison has to offer.

A born and raised Madisonian and having trained at Capitol Physical Therapy, I am excited to return to Wisconsin after a few years in Pomona, California.
I hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. I enjoy caring for people of all ages and backgrounds with orthopedic conditions, with a particular enthusiasm for treating spinal pathologies. I believe in an eclectic approach to rehabilitation and uses hands-on techniques to help my patients recover their health and well-being.
When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy the Wisconsin life – cheering on the Badgers and Packers, cooking tasty food, and spending time outdoors biking, hiking, and going to the park with my dog, Theo. I am also an active volunteer, having worked extensively with the Special Olympics, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the House of Ruth, an organization assisting families victimized by domestic abuse. I look forward to supporting these and other organizations in the communities we serve.
