Orthopaedic is the medical specialty utilized to prevent and restore function in the musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves.
Manual physical therapy is a hands-on technique used to decrease pain and improve range-of-motion and flexibility to stiff joints and muscles.
Orthopaedic physical therapy is used to treat both non-surgical and post-surgical patients with dealing with:

Women and Men's Pelvic Health
Did you know physical therapy can reduce or eliminate pain, improve function, and eliminate the need for medication in patients with pelvic pain, incontinence, pregnancy or postpartum issues, osteoporosis, and conditions related to the female athlete?

At Capitol PT, our physical therapists are workplace injury specialists. We provide an exercise-based approach and manual physical therapy to treat injuries caused by falls, slips, lifting, twisting, and other injuries associated with work. A personal Capitol expert will be assigned to your worker’s case and will stick with your injured worker throughout the course of their treatment. We use the latest evidence and a variety of proven methods to treat your injured worker to get them back on the job faster and feeling better than ever.
Capitol PT offers this effective physical therapy treatment which utilizes filament needles to make changes in myofascial trigger points. Myofascial trigger points are “knots” in muscles that can contribute to pain and decreased muscle function.
