We rate Capitol Physical Therapy a 10; we are extremely happy! After having received excellent PT in the past, we had no doubt this was the only place we would trust with our son’s recovery. After just 4 visits…I feel like a brand new person. Before, I could barely walk for 15 minutes without my back screaming in pain. Now I’m zooming through therapy and going on walks at home.
Wonderful staff, very helpful, competent and professional. They listen to what I say and are working with me to meet my goal.
Amazing service. They have gone out of their way to call and follow up with me while doing my at-home exercises. Highly recommend.
My husband was skeptical of my choice to use physical therapy to treat my back pain instead of medications. After seeing my results from working with the Capitol Physical Therapy team, my husband is a believer now too.
Meet the Staff
I am a long-standing member of the Capitol PT team. Having started as a staff therapist, I am now the clinic director at our Mount Horeb location. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. I enjoy treating people across the age spectrum; young athlete to the older adult.
The majority of my work is treating orthopedic conditions, although I enjoy also treating neurological conditions including strokes and Parkinson’s and I am LSVT BIG Certified (specialized treatment for Parkinson’s disease). I use current technology, including 2-D running analysis, and other up-to-date techniques including Trigger Point Dry Needling and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.
Personally, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our two small children and our dog. I fill my limited free time with fishing and biking.
As a UW graduate and lifelong Badger, I am so excited to be practicing in my favorite city and providing care to the community that I love.
I am a graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Concordia University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and hold an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from UW-Madison. I love working in physical therapy across the human lifespan and am passionate about treating patients ranging from the geriatric population to young athletes. The best part of my job is getting to know each patient individually as we work together to reach their goals.
When not in the clinic, you could find me soaking up all that this beautiful state and city have to offer. I love camping, hiking, cheering on the Badgers, soaking up the sun on the Terrace, eating delicious food on State Street, and spending time with my wife, Catie, and dog, Marty.
